Terry is on the Bearcat /going over all the skating surfaces. Yesterday the trails had good snow cover and the skiing was good. The glide was slow on the fresh blown snow but today with another grooming the snow should be faster. Much of the diagonal track from yesterday will be good, some track will be uneven, but the skating surface will be fine for classic skiers. The best skiing should be in the morning before the temp rises to high.

It should be another beautiful day on the trails. Denny started grooming around 6:30 am and finished just before 10. Everything is groomed and it should be a beautiful day on the trails.
With good snow cover the trails were in great shape yesterday and held up well all day. This morning should be even better but the sun will have more impact today. Remember your sun screen.
7:35 am Saturday, Jeremy is well ahead with the grooming and plans to do all the trails . He is laying a fresh track and says the fresh snow is setting up well. Should be excellent skiing.
Ski early if you can.
Waxless skis may start icing up with the new snow as the temp rises. If you have the Grip and Glide type wax or even cooking spray for the grip surface this may be the day for it. Hut’s open.. Lights on tonight.
