Fresh raking
Jim was on the Alpine by daybreak raking the trails and setting a fresh diagonal track. Conditions should be excellent today for skating and classic. Because of the limits of the Alpine, Jim couldn’t set a track on the Gold but the packed surface will be good for classic. He couldn’t lift the track on the Red hills so step out of the track before going downhill.
Beginners’ lesson
Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 10 am. This will be an introduction to classic skiing rather than to skating.
