21 Feb, More Grooming
Roy was working furiously last night till 2:30am when the both he and the Piston Bully were about to run out of fuel. His task was to build and firm the base in the areas we’ll be using for the 3 meets this weekend. Those trails involve the lit trails except for the purple. He had to move a lot of snow and widen certain places. The other trails should still be in good shape. Conditions were superb yesterday for both classic and skating and there was a steady flow of skiers on the trails. We hope to groom the bigger part of the trail system tonight.
Beginner’s lesson
Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 10 am. This will be an introduction to classic skiing rather than to skating.
