After three years of planning and work the Board of Directors is proud to announce the successful upgrade of the ski hut to the new chalet. The original hut has been moved back 150 feet and raised up to add a new ground floor. This new floor allows for more storage and a better setup to operate our rental program. The original hut is now the upper floor which has significant modifications. As well, with the addition of a septic system and well we now have indoor washrooms (no more freezing outhouse). This large undertaking was done through funding from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA); the Province of Newfoundland Labrador [Department of Industry, Energy and Technology] as well as our local partners and sponsors.
